Return to In-Person Worship
We are planning to return to in-person worship on July 12th. The service time will be at 9:00am. We will continue our Facebook Live Worship indefinitely, but it will be moved to 11:00am on July 12th. Reservations will be required for the in-person worship so that we may be certain to keep our numbers at or under 50 people.

A Prayer for Independence Day
God of all nations, we give you thanks for this great and beautiful country in which we live. We need your grace, Lord, so that we might grow in our ability to live as a nation under your guidance; that we might grow in our ability to live as a free people; that we might continuously strive to live in peace with our neighbors here and around the world; and that we might humbly see our shortcomings, and turn them over to you, so we as a nation might receive your redeeming touch again. Protect and heal us as we face a global pandemic. Protect and heal us as we deal with issues of racism, poverty, abuse of power and division in our nation. Guide our governments, protect our soldiers and first responders, and help us in our mission to turn the hearts and minds of all people to you, so all of your good and glorious purposes for us may be accomplished. Lord, we pray that you would lead us into one action this week that promotes peace in our world or that makes our communities and nation a happier and holier place. May we grow in our ability to live sacrificially for the greater good, as Jesus calls us to. Amen.
Prayer
God of life and God of liberty, God of all nations, once again we thank you for the freedoms we enjoy in this country. God, today some small thing is likely to upset me. In that moment, help me remember what some people in this world are living with. God, we pray for the freedom and opportunity you seek to give all your children. We pray our nation might truly be ‘the land of the free’. In faith, we believe you can eradicate evil in this world. Help us do our part. Amen.
